Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using Photobooth Online, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms with you.
If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. Mandatory consumer protections in your location are not limited by these terms.
What the service provides
Photobooth Online is a browser-based creative tool for taking or selecting photos, arranging them into layouts, applying visual effects, adding decorative elements, and exporting the result. The current service works without an account and processes photo content locally in your browser.
Camera, upload, rendering, download, and sharing features depend on your device, browser, permissions, available memory, and network connection. You are responsible for compatible equipment, internet access, and any charges imposed by your provider.
Your photos and creative content
You retain the rights you already have in photos, messages, and other content you bring into the booth or create with it. Because the current tool processes that content locally, you do not grant us a license to store or publish your booth photos on a cloud gallery.
You are responsible for making sure that:
- you own the content or have permission to use, edit, and share it;
- people shown in a photo have given any consent required by law;
- your use respects privacy, publicity, copyright, and trademark rights; and
- your captions, stickers, and edits do not make unlawful or harmful claims.
Acceptable use
You may not use Photobooth Online to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights or reasonable privacy;
- create or share exploitative, abusive, threatening, or harassing material;
- sexualize or exploit a minor, or create content that endangers a child;
- impersonate someone deceptively or misrepresent an image as authentic;
- introduce malicious code, overload, probe, or bypass service safeguards;
- scrape, automate, or access the service in a way that disrupts other users; or
- remove ownership notices or use our branding to imply endorsement.
We may restrict access to protect users, rights holders, the service, or the public. Serious suspected abuse may be reported where the law requires it.
Local sessions, downloads, and sharing
Photobooth Online does not currently provide a cloud gallery, account history, backup, or recovery service. Temporary photos may be lost when you refresh, close, or navigate away from the booth. Download work you want to keep before ending the session and manage the saved file on your own device.
If you use the device share sheet, you choose the receiving app or person. Any third-party app, platform, or messaging service has its own terms and privacy practices. Check your image and intended recipient before sharing.
Our content and limited license
The service, software, interface, branding, and included visual assets are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service as intended under these terms.
You may keep and share your exported pictures, including the included decorative elements as incorporated into those pictures. This does not grant a right to extract, resell, redistribute, or license our standalone assets, source code, or brand. Feedback you voluntarily send may be used to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.
Availability, updates, and suspension
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability of a particular filter or asset, or compatibility with every browser and device. Maintenance, security events, browser changes, or circumstances outside our control may interrupt the service.
We may block or limit access that appears unlawful, abusive, automated, dangerous, or disruptive. Sections that logically should continue—such as intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability terms—survive termination.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Photobooth Online is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee a particular image quality, color accuracy, browser result, or preservation of a session.
The service is a creative tool, not professional legal, safety, identity, archival, or security advice. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of this section may not apply to you.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost photos, lost profits, device problems, reputational harm, or third-party sharing decisions arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Your local law may provide additional rights and remedies.
General terms, changes, and contact
We may revise these terms as the service or law changes. The updated date will appear above, and continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law. Material changes may receive an additional notice.
Applicable law governs these terms without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their home jurisdiction. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement relating to the current service.
